At its current sale price this is a reasonable cordless choice for someone who wants floor, wall and waterline cleaning without a cord. Reviews split: Bob Vila was happy after three months in a Florida pool, while The Pool Nerd found weak suction and short battery life. Skip it if you have steps to clean or want fine silt filtration.
Best for: cord free wall and waterline cleaning. Skip if: you need steps cleaned.

- Floor, wall and waterline scrubbing
- Patterned navigation per Bob Vila
- Large discount off its original price
- 3 year warranty
- Does not clean stairs
- Only 150 µm filtering
- Charges only on its own stand
- Reviewers disagree on suction and battery life
- Over three months in a debris heavy Florida pool it climbed walls, scrubbed a couple of inches above the waterline and cut manual cleaning to almost zero; it cannot clean stairs and misses upper tile.
- Bob Vila · 4.5/5
- Labeled Pool Nerd Disapproved: barely finished one full cycle, suction felt weak, missed corners and steps, and debris fell back out when lifted. Affiliate site that favors corded robots.

Questions buyers ask
Does the AquaSense 2 skim the water surface?
No. Beatbot says it cleans floors, walls and the waterline and only parks at the surface; surface cleaning is on the AquaSense 2 Pro.
Can it clean pool steps?
Beatbot lists steps as only partly supported, and Bob Vila found it could not clean stairs.
