SCORED
The most complete cordless cleaner here: it handles the floor, walls, waterline and the water surface in one robot, and independent reviewers found it cleaned very well. It is heavy at about 29 lb, loses its app connection underwater, and still costs close to two thousand dollars on sale. Skip it if you have a small pool or would rather pay less for a corded robot on a weekly timer.
Best for: large pools with surface debris. Skip if: you want to lift under 20 lb.

- Cleans floor, walls, waterline and surface
- Long rated runtime for a cordless robot
- Reviewers saw strong pickup, including small rocks
- 3 year full replacement warranty
- About 29 lb to lift out of the pool
- App loses connection underwater
- Reviewer found it missed a shallow tanning ledge
- Still expensive even at the sale price
- Did an excellent job on bottom and sides and left clear water, but could not clean the shallow tanning area or Baja shelf, lost Wi-Fi underwater, and its near 30 lb weight was hard to haul.
- Reviewed
- Editor's Choice; pulled more debris, including small rocks, from an already clean pool than other robots tested. Downsides were bulk, price, and one failed charge due to wet contacts.
- Android Authority
- Named best cordless pick in its 2026 roundup but still labeled it Pool Nerd Disapproved, citing mesh filtration at flagship price and the daily charge and haul routine. The site prefers corded robots and earns affiliate commissions.

Questions buyers ask
Can I control it while it is underwater?
No. Beatbot and reviewers say the app connection works only when the robot is at the surface, so you cannot recall or stop it mid cycle from the pool floor.
Does it clean steps and tanning ledges?
Beatbot says steps must be wide enough and deeper than 1.31 ft. Reviewed found it never cleaned the shallow tanning area at the top of its steps.
How heavy is it?
Beatbot lists 29.1 lb dry, and it is heavier when full of water.
