Nautilus EON 120d
Dolphin's cordless robot with fine backwash filter and ledge cleaning
SCORED
A good fit for cordless buyers who care most about trapping fine dirt and want a robot that reaches 8 inch sun ledges. PCWorld found its filter caught debris very well but was a real chore to empty, and it sometimes missed corners and leaves on steps. Check the warranty, which is only 1 year on the Nautilus listing.
Best for: fine dirt and sun ledges. Skip if: you hate fiddly filter cleaning.

- Tested the EON 120d: DebrisLock filter trapped all types of debris and coverage reached about 95% on the longest cycle, but emptying the filter was a huge pain, it missed corners, failed to start twice at first, and often flipped onto its back.
- PCWorld
- Notes the EON line cleans water as shallow as about 8 in with better than basic mesh filtering, but still requires hooking, lifting, drying and charging; Clicker retrieval is mentioned for the 120d.
